4 Week Pottery Class

We offer private group classes, typically from 6 PM to 8 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please note that scheduling may vary due to holidays and other considerations.

If the group classes don’t meet your needs, we can accommodate a 4-week pottery wheel class series during business hours, featuring individual instruction. While these classes offer personalized guidance, they are not entirely private, and there may be brief interruptions to assist other studio visitors.

The 4-week Pottery Wheel Class program includes:

• Weeks 1 and 2: Introduction to wheel throwing, including wedging and throwing techniques.

• Week 3: Throwing, trimming, and finishing up final pieces

• Week 4: Glazing your creations with our 10 dipping glazes

The 4-week Hand building Class program includes:

• Weeks 1 and 2: Introduction to hand building- Slab roller, slabs, coils and pinch pots. Attaching pieces using slip and magic water.

• Week 3: Hand building and finishing up final pieces

• Week 4: Glazing your creations with our 10 dipping glazes

Your completed work will be ready for pickup 3 weeks after the final class.

Students enrolled in the 4-week class have studio access during business hours for additional practice. These classes are open to participants aged 13 and older.

8-12 is available with registration of a parent. Additionally, please contact us for after school accommodations. We are excited to teach our young potters too!
